New Fangled Bygone’s opening at the Café Delmarette. After an intense week of tying up loose ends (that kept manifesting themselves) Ari and I (Alexandra) got our prints up on the wall and heaved a big sigh of relief when we could finally sit back, enjoy the reception.

Last night was the opening reception of the exhibition in which my (Alexandra’s) print series is displayed, as well as the solo show of my professor. Encompassing the work of students participating in the Special Topics in Printmaking class with visiting artist Eleanor Gates-Stuart, the show was a smashing success… so much rad art all in one place! If you happen to be on the UCSC campus sometime before next wednesday check out the Sesnon Gallery and adjacent Faculty Gallery for a great collection. Student work is in the Faculty Gallery and Eleanor’s CRAZY body of work from the past ten weeks is in the Sesnon. Here are a few photos…
